PATRICK M. WOOD, AUTHOR

The Brain: The Final Frontier Of The Science of Social Engineering

Patrick Wood is a leading and critical expert on Technocracy, Transhumanism, and globalization and the author of several books, including The Evil Twins of Technocracy and Transhumanism and Technocracy Rising.

The Technocracy movement originally coined the Science of Social Engineering as a means of social control. Over the decades, isolated scientific studies produced limited results.

In 2002, with the birth of Convergent Science, with its inclusion of Cognitive Science alongside Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, and Information Technology, the race started to explore the final frontier of what it means to be human: the Brain! The next decade of scientific research, from 2002-2012, laid the foundation for President Barack Obama to supercharge the entire field of study with the Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) initiative. “Mapping the human brain” was equated in importance with the human genome project that mapped the DNA of man during the 1990s.

Since Obama’s kickstart, billions of dollars have poured into BRAIN, spurring a global race to the finish line. However, hidden in the details of BRAIN, we see lurking the military/intelligence organizations Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), harvesting the fruit of Technocracy’s original tree of the Science of Social Engineering.

DAVID A. HUGHES, PHD

The Unthinkable Threat: The Brain as the Battlescape

David A. Hughes is the author of “Covid-19,” Psychological Operations, and the War for Technocracy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024) and Wall Street, the Nazis, and the Crimes of the Deep State (Skyhorse, 2024). He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Oxford University and holds doctorates in German Studies (Duke University) and International Relations (Oxford Brookes University).

Ever since Winston Churchill declared in 1943 that “The empires of the future are the empires of the mind,” it was clear that social control was to be maintained, not so much by physical threat and coercion, but, rather, through psychological means.

The insidious power of propaganda, psychological operations, behavioural psychology, etc. to condition human perception and cognition cannot be underestimated. Nevertheless, novel 21st-century technologies are opening up frightening new possibilities for mind control by engaging directly with the brain.

In the context of the Omniwar, we must take seriously Pentagon neuroscience adviser James Giordano’s claim that the brain will be the 21st-century battlescape. Attacks on the brain through electromagnetic warfare have a long history, as do military intelligence projects to develop brain-computer interfaces. The White House’s Brain Initiative and the EU’s Graphene Flagship project have seen huge amounts of money flow into brain technology research. Syringe-injectable nanotechnologies exist that are capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier.

If it becomes possible to influence the brain via a combination of such technologies and acoustic, magnetic, and/or electrical frequencies, then the evil potential of weaponised neurotechnology may know no bounds.

LISSA JOHNSON, PHD

Social Engineering in the Bio-Nano Age: Mapping the Leading Edge of Dual Use Neurotechnologies

Lissa Johnson has undergraduate degrees in media studies and in behavioural science, with an honours thesis in neuroimmunology, an MA in clinical psychology, and a PhD on the psychological processes involved in manipulating reality-perception.

In an era where checks and balances on power are rapidly eroding, abuses of power can be expected to escalate. Accordingly, the dual-use, weaponizable tools available to those in power are a matter of public interest and concern.

With that in mind, this presentation examines the intersection of technology and power as it relates to dual-use neurotechnologies targeting the brain. Leading-edge, or “next generation” technologies conducive to covert deployment will be explored, focussing on those with simultaneous applications across medical, lifestyle, and military domains. Given the breadth and complexity of the subject matter, a roadmap will be proposed for navigating the informational terrain along empirically solid ground.

It will be argued that disease and injury aside, the unadulterated human brain, in a world increasingly enamored of brain-machine interfaces and artificial intelligence, should instead be protected and defended as a bedrock of human prosperity and survival.

DANIEL BROUDY, PHD

Cognitive Warfare & Mental Categories: Preparing the Masses to be Freaked, Geeked, & Tweaked

Daniel Broudy is a Professor of Rhetoric and Applied Linguistics in the Graduate School of Intercultural Communication at Okinawa Christian University and  a former imagery analyst with the U.S. Army

The past five years, since the rollout of the Covid-19 narrative, have seen populations around the world exposed to powerful military-grade psychological operations that effectively reposition people into new conceptual categories meant to erase collective memory of human rights, sovereignty, agency, and dignity. The result is a world headed for rampant deprivation, the loss of our sense of humanity, community, and identity.

A necessary precondition for creating such a world of compliant cyborgs is preparing people mentally to embrace new technologies that falsely promise a radically new kind of empowered human being. Such persons, as the literature shows, have become effectively “tweaked” and “freaked” and fully fit to function in the new global order of technocratic servitude.

This presentation draws upon research in frame semantics and cognitive linguistics to show how warfare enacted against the mind targets at least two key brain regions that keep the reconfiguration of humanity mostly hidden from our conscious awareness.
