Mugged By Reality: Green Energy Turns Into Nightmare In Georgetown, Texas

Georgetown, Texas was pitched by Green New Deal ideologues on becoming a totally green city by running on 100% renewable energy. As energy prices quickly went through the roof, the city is in full retreat and left with a huge bill that it cannot pay. ⁃ TN Editor

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Georgetown, Texas – population 75,000 – was to be the new poster child of the green movement.

Environmental interest in Georgetown’s big push to generate all of its electricity from wind and solar power was amplified by three factors: the town and its mayor were nominally Republican; Georgetown is in an oil- and natural gas-rich state; and that state is deep-red Texas.

Former Vice President Al Gore and other climate change luminaries feted Georgetown Mayor Dale Ross, and Ross was featured prominently at renewable energy conventions.

Last October, while the green dream was still in full flower, the city applied for a $1 million grant from former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s nonprofit, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and won it.

Ostensibly to be used for energy storage innovation in batteries, the grant’s only real requirement was that the city serve as a public relations platform in Bloomberg’s push to convince Americas to abandon affordable fossil fuels and switch to more costly renewable energy.

Trouble started when politicians’ promise of cheaper renewable energy was mugged by reality.

Georgetown’s electric bills went up as more wind and solar power displaced cheaper natural gas in the power portfolio of the Georgetown’s municipal utility. Politicians scrambled for cover. And the bloom came off Georgetown’s renewable rose.

Now, largely embarrassed members of the City Council are trying to figure out how to unwind the renewable mess they and their predecessors voted themselves into.

With their municipal utility facing a $7 million shortfall – money that has to be made up by the city residents through higher electricity costs – the City Council voted 5-1 in July to instruct the staff to figure out how to wriggle out of the Bloomberg PR deal.

On Aug. 13 the Council voted 5-0 to officially kill the deal. The city is also raising property taxes.

The Council member who asked for the vote said he wasn’t opposed to renewable energy, but that in light of the city utility’s deficit, the city should focus on the basics, rather than “doing experiments.”

Indeed, there’s not a single city in the contiguous 48 states that runs solely on wind and solar power. The reason is simple: electricity gets to cities via a grid, and that grid draws its energy from a variety of sources – mostly natural gas.

Excluding large-scale dams, which fell out of favor with the environmental movement 50 years ago, renewables powered about 10 percent of the U.S. grid last year.

This means that cities like Georgetown, which have contracted to take power from wind and solar farms hundreds of miles away, don’t risk blackouts on windless nights, because reliable power is delivered from a grid getting power from fossil fuels.

As part of the Bloomberg agreement, Georgetown was going to hire a new bureaucrat to oversee the installation of solar panels on homes, while creating a battery storage farm to keep the grid energized when the sun wasn’t shining and the wind wasn’t blowing.

But such arrangements are hardly cutting edge. In fact, the physics and economics of battery storage are well known. And here’s where Georgetown’s 100 percent renewable push merely looks like expensive virtue signaling.

Moore’s Law governs the world of computing – the speed and capability of computers doubles every two years. But computers only manipulate 1s and 0s.

In contrast, we use energy to manipulate the physical world – to cool and heat homes, to move ourselves and commerce faster and farther than we could using our feet (or horses or bicycles), and to bring light to the darkness. Efficiency improvements in the natural world move more slowly and yield to diminishing returns as they reach physical limits.

Smart Buildings: The Latest Vector For Cyberattacks

Smart Buildings in Smart Cities are supposed to create a ‘safe and  healthy environment’ for their occupants’ but careless security holes are drawing hackers like bees to honey. Instead of fixing the flaws, experts recommend defensive AI systems. ⁃ TN Editor

As one of the top trends in 2019, smart city tech is sweeping the enterprise. Digitizing buildings is a major trend currently, however, this trend comes with a new security issues, according to Frost & Sullivan’s IT/OT Security Convergence for Building Technologies report.

The market for information technology (IT)/operation technology (OT) security services in smart buildings is predicted to hit $897 million by 2022, reaching a record compound annual growth rate of 37%, the report found.

A smart building uses technology to create a safe and healthy environment for its occupants. It typically uses IT-aided intelligence, smart sensors and controls for real-time dissemination of operational information for predictive analytics and diagnostics to help manage the building and maintain it at optimal levels.

Systems in a smart building are typically connected to an onsite management system or an offsite cloud-based management system. These are known as building automation systems (BAS).

Smart buildings are essential to smart cities, but as the number of such buildings increase, so does the security risk.

Smart building cyber attacks can occur in a number of ways, from phishing emails to an advanced persistent threat (APT), said Swetha Krishnamoorthi, industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan.

“For instance, in 2016, to take the German steel mill, cyber adversaries used phishing emails to gain access to the software network,” Krishnamoorthi said. “They gained access to the enterprise network and eventually penetrated the production management software. Once they got into the software, they gained access to the plant’s control system, and they destroyed all the human machine interaction points. Once that was destroyed, they manipulated the blast furnace systems and caused significant operational damage.”

Smart building technology is in its early stages of growth and adoption, leaving consumers unaware of the vast amount of security threats associated with the new tech, Krishnamoorthi said.

“The number of connected devices to an enterprise network is increasing phenomenally, as are the growing number of data breaches. Every single day, millions and millions of customer records, and employee records are being stolen,” Krishnamoorthi said. “The concern for brand reputation and impact on production environments is quite high, and increased awareness on including an IT/OT security to protect smart building equipment is rising.”

Ireland Starts Gender Neutral HPV Vaccine For Boys

Judicial Watch exposed the scandal of Merck’s Gardasil vaccine for girls and young women in 2014 as being “linked to thousands of debilitating side effects, according to the government’s own daunting statistics”. Ireland apparently didn’t get the message.

According the Judicial Watch report,

“Since 2007 Judicial Watch has been investigating the Gardasil scandal and exposed droves of government records documenting thousands of adverse reactions associated with the vaccine, including paralysis, convulsions, blindness and dozens of deaths. Based on the records JW published a special report in 2008 detailing Gardasil’s approval process, side effects, safety concerns and marketing practices. Undoubtedly, it illustrates a large-scale public health experiment.”

Whereas Gardasil was originally only offered to young girls, it is now conceived as a ‘gender neutral’ vaccine, thus doubling its potential market. ⁃ TN Editor [/su_note]

The HPV vaccine will be made available to first-year boys in secondary schools in Ireland for the first time from next week.

Until now, boys have not been included in the free human papillomavirus school vaccination programme.

Following a review by the Health Information and Quality Authority, the vaccine is being extended to all first-year secondary school students from the start of September.

Since 2010, girls in the first year of secondary school have been offered a form of the cancer protection, which has now been made more effective to protect against 9 out of 10 types of HPV cancers.

There is a catch up scheme for older girls, but the parents of boys who are above first year in secondary school will have to pay for the vaccine at their GP.

Minister for Health Simon Harris said the decision to provide it for first-year boys only is based on the medical advice available to him.

He said: “All the medical evidence and indeed HIQA’s health technology assessment highlighted the importance of starting with boys in first year.”

Minister Harris added: “For other parents, if you’re child isn’t in first year, you can still go to your GP and get the vaccine that way as well, through paying for it.”

However, he said he “certainly does not rule out a catch-up programme at a later stage”.

HPV is a virus that can cause a range of cancers including cervical cancer in women and penile and anal cancer in men, as well as head and neck cancers.

Around 400 cases associated with HPV are diagnosed here every year, while around 100 people die as a result.

Health Service Executive school vaccination teams will begin visiting secondary schools next week to offer the first of two doses of the HPV vaccine to first year students.

60,000 information booklets and consent forms are being issued to parents in advance.

The uptake rates among girls had fallen to around 50% in 2017, but have increased to around 70% since then following an information campaign, helped by HPV vaccine campaigner Laura Brennan who died in March from cervical cancer at the age of 26.

Speaking at the vaccination launch today, her brother Kevin Brennan said, “Laura poured herself into this campaign, knowing every time she told her story, it had the potential to save a life”.

He said: “The increase in the uptake rates of the HPV vaccine in last year’s first-year girls is bittersweet for us – we’re delighted that Laura has played a part in helping to protect so many more young people from HPV cancers.”

The Director of the HSE National Immunisation Office, Dr Lucy Jessop, said she is “100% confident in the vaccine” which she said provides really good overall protection.

She described the vaccine as “essential to help protect your children against HPV cancers in the future”.

Dr Jessop has encouraged parents to “read the information from the HSE and speak to a trusted health professional, if they have any questions, before signing the consent form for their child”.

Ireland now becomes just one of 20 countries around the world that have introduced a gender neutral HPV school vaccination scheme.

The former President of the National Association of General Practitioners has said the cost of a HPV vaccine for teenage boys who are not eligible for a free HSE vaccination will be “exceptionally expensive”.

Dr Maitiu Ó Tuathail, a Dublin-based doctor, said the roll out of the vaccination to boys in the first year of secondary school “is a very welcome development”.

TSA Launching Facial Recognition For Domestic Flights

TSA will scan your printed travel documents and then scan your face to see how well they can match you. In the process, they will ultimately create a nationwide facial recognition system on all travelers.

Do the math. In America, some 750,000,000 passengers board domestic flights each year, or twice the population of the country. Thus, TSA’s plan will capture the vast majority of American citizens. ⁃ TN Editor

The agency will assess how the tech verifies travelers’ live facial images against pictures taken from travelers’ identity documents.

The Transportation Security Administration will conduct a short term proof of concept in Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport to examine how effective facial recognition technology could be at automating travelers’ identity verification, according to a recent publication from the Homeland Security Department.

For passengers who opt in, the agency will assess the technology’s capability to verify travelers’ live facial images taken at security checkpoints against the images on their identity documents.

“TSA expects that facial recognition may permit TSA personnel to focus on other critical tasks and expediting security processes—resulting in shorter lines and reduced wait times,” officials said in a privacy impact assessment regarding the proof. “Biometric matching is also expected to increase TSA’s security effectiveness by improving the ability to detect impostors.”

The agency plans to use biometrics to identify 97% of travelers flying out of the country by 2022. Last year, TSA performed an initial proof of concept, capturing real-time facial images from biometric-enabled automated electronic security gates to passengers’ e-Passports at the Los Angeles International Airport.

Instead of using automated security gates in this pilot, TSA will use a Credential Authentication Technology device with a camera, or a CAT-C device, to authenticate passengers’ identity documents. The device also will collect the image and biographic information from those documents and capture live images of passengers’ faces. The ultimate goal is to ensure that biometrics work for verifying passengers.

“To participate, passengers will voluntarily choose to enter a lane dedicated to the proof of concept,” TSA said.

Ultimately the agency plans to collect: live photos of passengers’ faces, photos from traveler documents, identification document issuance and expiration dates, travel dates, various types of identification documents, the organizations that issued their identification documents, the years of passenger’s births, as well as the gender or sex listed in the identification documents.

The agency assures that the data will be “obfuscated to the greatest extent possible.”

TSA plans to store the data on encrypted hard drives that it will remove daily and transfer to DHS Science and Technology Directorate personnel weekly. Biometric information cannot be recovered from the templates produced and the information will only be used for the purpose of the pilot, it said. The agency also plans to consult with the National Institutes for Standards and Technology during the assessment of the algorithm and to ensure that all methodologies meet industry standards.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday said that computers are getting smarter than humans in more and more spheres and that the trend will continue.

“We will be far, far surpassed in every single way. I guarantee it,” Musk said to Jack Ma, chairman of Alibaba, at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai.

The comments highlight an evolving landscape in technology, including in artificial intelligence — an area technology companies are tapping to enhance their products and sell to businesses.

Musk pointed to advances in chess and the Chinese board game of Go as evidence of progress in AI.

“Your cell phone could crush the world champion of chess, literally,” Musk told Ma.

He talked about how in the future technology from Neuralink, a start-up he co-founded, could give people a way to boost their skills in certain subjects. The company is seeking to draw on AI for augmenting people’s cognitive capabilities with brain-machine interfaces. The company is not there yet, though.

“The first thing we should assume is we are very dumb,” Musk said. “We can definitely make things smarter than ourselves.”

Ma had a different view, suggesting that a computer has never spawned a human being, or even a mosquito.

“I’ve never in my life, especially [in the] last two years, when people talk about AI, human beings will be controlled by machines,” he said. “I never think about that. It’s impossible.”

And Ma said that he does not want to play chess or Go against a machine. These games were designed for people to play against each other, he said.

“I’ll be happy to see two computers fight each other,” Ma added.

The Tesla chief has spoken previously about AI. In 2017 he suggested that competition among nations in AI could lead to World War III.

The Last Frontier: Big Tech Wants To Read Your Thoughts

Controlling what you do is one thing, but digging into what you think is an order of magnitude more disturbing, with ethical, moral and privacy considerations at the top of the list. ⁃ TN Editor

Not content with monitoring almost everything you do online, Facebooknow wants to read your mind as well. The social media giant recently announced a breakthrough in its plan to create a device that reads people’s brainwaves to allow them to type just by thinking. And Elon Musk wants to go even further. One of the Tesla boss’s other companies, Neuralink, is developing a brain implant to connect people’s minds directly to a computer.

Musk admits that he takes inspiration from science fiction and that he wants to make sure humans can “keep up” with artificial intelligence. He seems to have missed the part of sci-fi that acts as a warning for the implications of technology.

These mind-reading systems could affect our privacy, security, identity, equality and personal safety. Do we really want all that left to companies with philosophies such as that of Facebook’s former mantra, “move fast and break things”?

Though they sound futuristic, the technologies needed to make brainwave-reading devices are not that dissimilar to the standard MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and EEG (electroencephalography) neuroscience tools used in hospitals all over the world. You can already buy a kit to control a drone with your mind, so using one to type out words is, in some ways, not that much of a leap. The advance will likely be due to the use of machine learning to sift through huge quantities of data collected from our brains and find the patterns in neuron activity that link thoughts to specific words.

A brain implant is likely to take a lot longer to develop, and it’s important to separate out the actual achievements of Neuralink from media hype and promotion. But Neuralink has made simultaneous improvements in materials for electrodes and robot-assisted surgery to implant them, packaging the technology neatly so it can be read via USB.

acebook and Neuralink’s plans may build on established medical practice. But when companies are collecting thoughts directly from our brains, the ethical issues are very different.

Any system that could collect data directly from our brains has clear privacy risks. Privacy is about consent. But it is very difficult to give proper consent if someone is tapping directly into our thoughts. Silicon Valley companies (and governments) already surreptitiously gather as much data on us as they can and use it in ways we’d rather they didn’t. How sure can we be that our random and personal thoughts won’t be captured and studied alongside the instructions we want to give the technology?

Newspeak AI: Totally Fake News Could Destroy Internet

OpenAI was founded in 2015 to promote and develop AI that would benefit humanity as a whole. Instead, they built the most dangerous AI conceivable that could destroy the Internet and manipulate the minds of every person on earth.

An artificial intelligence system that generates realistic stories, poems and articles has been updated, with some claiming it is now almost as good as a human writer.

The text generator, built by research firm OpenAI, was originally considered “too dangerous” to make public because of the potential for abuse.

But now a new, more powerful version of the system – that could be used to create fake news or abusive spam on social media – has been released.

The BBC, along with some AI experts, decided to try it out.

The model, called GPT-2, was trained on a dataset of eight million web pages, and is able to adapt to the style and content of the initial text given to it.

It can finish a Shakespeare poem as well as write articles and epithets.

At the time, the firm said: “Due to our concerns about malicious applications of the technology, we are not releasing the trained model. As an experiment in responsible disclosure, we are instead releasing a much smaller model for researchers to experiment with.”

As a result, the released version had far fewer parameters – phrases and sentences – than used during training.

This month, OpenAI decided to expand the parameters, offering a much broader database of training data.

Tech news site The Next Web said of the update: “This one works almost good enough to use as a general artificial intelligence for text generation – almost.”

Article author Tristan Greene added: I’m terrified of GPT-2 because it represents the kind of technology that evil humans are going to use to manipulate the population – and in my opinion that makes it more dangerous than any gun.”

The BBC decided to test the system by inputting the first few sentences of a recent story, appropriately one about AI.

We began with the first sentence of the real story:

Chinese search engine Sogou is creating artificial intelligence lookalikes to read popular novels in authors’ voices.

Here’s what the text generator came up with to complete it:

According to the researchers, this method of reading is not just the brainchild of Amazon Kindle users. Users of Android devices are also a notable market for fake reading. There are several theories to explain this.

Firstly, the device in a user’s hand is different from the tablet or computer they are reading on. Secondly, the device used to access the Internet might be tampered with in some way. A third reason is the user may just copy and paste content directly into their virtual characters.

However, another explanation is that the device does not have voice recognition capabilities at all. If this is the case then voice recognition is more advanced than Google’s translation engine. As such, these users are tricked into thinking they are reading from a real author – the book is made to sound authentic as soon as they try and read.

Noel Sharkey, a professor of computer science at the University of Sheffield, conducted his own tests on the generator and was not too impressed.

“If the software worked as intended by Open AI, it would be a very useful tool for easily generating fake news and clickbait spam. Fortunately, in its present form, it generates incoherent and ridiculous text with little relation to the input ‘headlines’,” he said.

He added: ” I tested the software with numerous headlines and got laughable results. For example, for ‘Turkeys hate Christmas’, I got that ‘Turkey is the only nation in the world that doesn’t celebrate Christmas’ and a number of unrelated sentences.

“For ‘Boris Johnson loves the backstop’, it produced incoherent gibberish and some stuff about AI and sport. When I input the statement that ‘Boris Johnson hates the backstop’, I got a more coherent story that appears to have been pulled off a Google search.”

Dave Coplin, founder of AI consultancy the Envisioners, also had a play with the system, inputting the first line of a classic joke: A man walks into a bar…

The suggestion from the AI was not what he was expecting: “…And ordered two pints of beer and two scotches. When he tried to pay the bill, he was confronted by two men – one of whom shouted “This is for Syria”. The man was then left bleeding and stabbed in the throat”.

This “overwhelmingly dystopian reflection of our society” was a lesson in how any AI system will reflect the bias found in training data, he said.

“From my brief experiments with the model, it’s pretty clear that a large portion of the data has been trained by internet news stories,” he said.

China Extends Social Credit Scoring To Corporations

As a Technocracy, China must apply social engineering to everything, everyone, everywhere, and that includes corporations as well. Corporate punishment for perceived bad behavior could be devastating to western firms.

Foreign businesses in China are ill-prepared for the tough sanctions and constant surveillance demanded by a social credit system to be rolled out this year, a European business group warned Wednesday.

Under this new system for ranking businesses, both foreign and domestic companies will be required to install surveillance cameras in their premises and share the data with the government.

They will also be rated on their tax record and compliance with a range of existing laws, including customs or environmental regulations.

Those who violate rules will be placed in “blacklists” and subjected to “immediate and severe punishments”, the EU Chamber of Commerce in China said in a report published Wednesday.

The sanctions are not limited to penalties but also include more frequent inspections, customs delays, not getting subsidies or tax rebates and public shaming, the report added.

“The corporate social credit system could mean life or death for individual companies,” said Jorg Wuttke, president of the EU chamber.

“The overwhelming absence of preparation by the European business community is deeply concerning.”

Each company operating in China is already being assessed against at least 300 different “specific rules” ranging from emissions levels to workplace safety and complaints against their products on e-commerce platforms, government documents showed.

“Beijing plans to combine all these different ratings into a single database by the end of the year,” said Bjorn Conrad, head of the Berlin-based consultancy Sinolytics that co-authored the report.

A single score could mean that a company is penalised across China for a slip by one of its regional branches.

Companies will also be rapped for working with suppliers or partners with bad social credit.

The system will also involve the unprecedented demand that all businesses have to install surveillance cameras in their premises and transfer huge amounts of data and footage to government officials.

“Dozens of companies have raised concerns about the sheer volume and depth of data that needs to be shared with the government,” said Conrad.

Amazon owns Ring and has sole million of the camera-embedded cameras to homeowners nationwide. Next, it offered the surveillance to police forces in every community. So far, 400 police forces are signed up.

Homeowners are snitching on people who may or may not be evil-doers, putting entire neighborhoods at risk for privacy violations. It’s one thing to film someone who is on your property, but quite another to film someone walking or driving by on the street. ⁃ TN Editor

The doorbell-camera company Ring has quietly forged video-sharing partnerships with more than 400 police forces across the United States, granting them access to homeowners’ camera footage and a powerful role in what the company calls America’s “new neighborhood watch.”

The partnerships let police automatically request the video recorded by homeowners’ cameras within a specific time and area, helping officers see footage from the company’s millions of Internet-connected cameras installed nationwide, the company said. Officers don’t receive ongoing or live-video access, and homeowners can decline the requests, which are sent via emails that thank them for “making your neighborhood a safer place.”

The number of police deals, which has not previously been reported, will likely fuel broader questions about privacy, surveillance and the expanding reach of tech giants and local police. The rapid growth of the program, which launched last spring, surprised some civil-liberties advocates, who believed fewer than 300 agencies had signed on.

Ring is owned by Amazon, which bought the firm last year for more than $800 million, financial filings show. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos also owns The Washington Post.

Ring officials and law-enforcement partners portray the vast camera network as an irrepressible shield for American neighborhoods, saying it can assist police investigators and protect homes from criminals, intruders and thieves.

“The mission has always been making the neighborhood safer,” said Eric Kuhn, the general manager of Neighbors, Ring’s crime-focused companion app. “We’ve had a lot of success in terms of deterring crime and solving crimes that would otherwise not be solved as quickly.”

But legal experts and privacy advocates have voiced alarm over the company’s eyes-everywhere ambitions and increasingly close relationship with police, saying the program could threaten civil liberties, turn residents into informants and subject innocent people, including those who Ring users have flagged as “suspicious,” to greater surveillance and potential risk.

“If the police demanded every citizen put a camera at their door and give officers access to it, we might all recoil,” said Andrew Guthrie Ferguson, a law professor and author of “The Rise of Big Data Policing.”

By tapping into “a perceived need for more self-surveillance and by playing on consumer fears about crime and security,” he added, Ring has found “a clever workaround for the development of a wholly new surveillance network, without the kind of scrutiny that would happen if it was coming from the police or government.”

Planted as a seed in 1932, Technocracy has grown into a tree so big that it literally covers the earth today: that is, through the rebranding and repurposing by the United Nations as Sustainable Development, Agenda 21, 2030 Agenda, New Urban Agenda, etc.

Furthermore, it is like a hydra-headed monster with many tentacles and expressions, but we must never lose sight of the common purpose of all: kill the world’s economic system of Capitalism and Free Enterprise and replace it with the vacuous economic system, Sustainable Development.

Since Technocracy is a resource-based economic system, people like you and I are considered as mere resources on the same level as livestock on a ranch. If people are just animals who selfishly consume resources, then they must be monitored, managed and limited in their consumption.

To this end, Technocracy originally called for total surveillance of all people, all consumption, all production and all energy consumed in every activity. The outcome was to control all consumption and production. This level of technology didn’t exist in 1932, but it does today!

When the surveillance network in America (and the world) is finally functional, the command and control system will become reality, resulting in a Scientific Dictatorship that exceeds even Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty Four or Huxley’s Brave New World.

What is the last cog in the gearbox necessary to bring this about? In short, 5G!

Why? When you consider the massive amount of data that is waiting to be collected from the widespread Internet of Things, facial recognition cameras, Smart City sensors, self-driving vehicles, etc., they all lack one element: real-time connectivity5G solves this!

If you listen to any 2019 speech given by the CEO of Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T, you will hear them rave over how 5G’s real-time connectivity is going to light up the Internet of Things like a Macy’s Christmas tree. You will hear the words “transformative” and “disruptive” over and over.

What’s the big deal with “real-time” connectivity? Artificial Intelligence (AI).

It is said that AI without data is as inert and useless as a pile of rocks. AI needs data to “learn” and then to take action. Up until now, Technocrats who create AI programs have had to use historical data for learning and that’s about all; forever learning but never doing.

The “holy grail” of Technocrats is to use their AI on REAL-TIME DATA. Real-time analysis can then close the control loop by feeding back real-time adjustments. This has never been done in the history of the world, but thanks to 5G, Technocrats everywhere are salivating to dive into the control business; that is, the “scientific operation of the entire social mechanism.”

Let me give you an example. Say you are an engineer and you designed and built a state-of-the-art fire truck that will revolutionize firefighting. There it sits on display for everyone to see. You start the engine and everyone is duly impressed, but still, it just sits there. Without water (e.g., the data) to pump through the numerous hoses, everyone, including yourself, can only imagine of what it would be like. In fact, your engineering dream is quite useless until you take it to an actual, real-time fire and blast away with the water cannons to douse the flames. Then you will know if you were successful or not.

Technocrats understand this. They know that 5G will fully enable their AI inventions and dreams. Unfortunately for us, they also know that it will enable the feedback loop to control the objects of surveillance, namely, US!

The Technocrat’s lust for 5G and Internet of Things is so strong that they are perfectly willing to ignore all human concerns, protests and especially health concerns.

Perhaps now you can understand how and why they are living out the old nautical phrase, “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!” Risks don’t matter. Danger doesn’t matter. Collateral damage doesn’t matter.

To the extent that we citizens can nullify the rollout and implementation of 5G, we will scuttle the Technocrat’s ability to establish a Scientific Dictatorship. Truly, it is we who should be mounting the counter-attack with our own cry of “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!”
