In all fairness, this article doesn't mention Technocracy a single time, but it certainly nails billionaire Technocrats as Transhumans who are using their billions to conquer death. This isn't new. Ancient explorers sought out the "Fountain of Youth" in the four corners of the globe. They all died in their quest. Today's counterparts will eventually join them in the grave, sans their riches and fame.
