Several global cities like Paris are planning a 100% ban on combustion engines within their city limits, favoring instead electric trains, busses and bicycles. These cities are rising to a stature that exceeds their national domicile.
It is unclear if this will have any impact on current UN’s policies being implemented in the US by a myriad of heavily-funded NGOs such as ICLEI and the US Conference of Mayors. The United Nations has already penetrated the US down to the smallest community.
Since most economic activity takes place in cities, Sustainable Development, aka Technocracy, will naturally focus on urban transformation. Rural populations will simply be assigned to urban centers, and treated accordingly.
Danger: The Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, said that “trillions of dollars need to be mobilized a year by tapping into the savings of citizens around the world…” The financing fix for Sustainable Development is revealed: simply take it from citizens’ saving accounts. Actually, if Sustainable Development is completely established in place of Capitalism/Free Enterprise, private property (including savings) will be wiped out anyway.
Pope Francis believes that humans are harming mother earth and that we must pray for mercy for committing sins against it. He is also firmly supporting the United Nations and its manic drive toward Sustainable Development, aka Technocracy.
The religious mania of Sustainable Development has no limitations in telling you what you can and cannot do, own, eat and enjoy. This is the heartbeat of Technocracy, the ‘science of social engineering’.
Since China is already a maturing Technocracy with 1.4 billion citizens, it is a natural for the Technocratic IMF to relocate to Bejing. Scientific social engineering is the global mantra but nobody has yet consulted with citizens.
Eliminating the combustion engine is part and parcel of the Paris Climate Agreement, and England is falling in line by banning sales outright by 2040. The industrial upheaval that this will cause cannot yet be measured.
A ‘resource-based’ economic system like Sustainable Development (aka Technocracy) seeks to hoard all resources on the planet. The oceans are a huge part of the resource pie, and they are coming for them.
This is Portland, Oregon at its worst, a city thoroughly infected with multicultural illogic and sustainable development. This is the same city whose education board banned all anti-global warming books and papers from public schools.
