The religion of Transhumanism is pervasive and resilient, judging by the continuous flow of stories every year. The technology to achieve their dream is always just out of reach and just around the corner. Alas, it’s been that way for years, and yet they are no closer to immortality than they were 30 years ago.
Transhumanism is a religious belief system based on the hope that somehow science will provide the holy grail. The fact is, science has not advanced one centimeter toward immortality in all of history.
Since the Transhuman community heated up in the last 30 years, thanks to advancing technology, there has not been one single scientific breakthrough that has moved them one inch closer to achieving immortality. Undeterred, they continue to look for the big ‘breakthrough’ that will save them from death.
Technocrat engineers are obsessed with Transhumanism and conquering immortality, but this ‘breakthrough’ is little more than a technology parlor trick to imitate life after death. Before technology, we had puppets with strings, and this is no different except that it is much more realistic.
The transhuman fantasy of downloading their brains into a computer network persists no matter what evidence to the contrary is presented. Although Ray Kurzweil was the first high-profile technologist to popularize this, many other scientists have since jumped on the bandwagon. Transhumanism and Technocracy are the twin creations of Scientism.
As awareness grows, Americans are one step closer to repudiating Technocracy, but the rebellion has a long way to go. Technocrats wield enormous power over the propaganda machine, and are expert at deluding the masses with misinformation and disinformation.
Scientism is a religion started in the early 1800’s by French philosopher Henri de Saint-Simon, who called for a priesthood of engineers and scientists to administrate humanity. Both Technocracy and Transhumanism have deep roots in Scientism, so it isn’t surprising to see modern adherents trying to create a godhead out of Artificial Intelligence.
Ray Kurzweil is the father of Technocracy and Transhumanism and heads up engineering at Google. The Technocrat mind never believes that its invention could or would ever fail. This is a fatal flaw in their social engineering schemes.
In the past, men have worshiped rocks, wooden and carved images, the sun, the moon, animals and every conceivable thing, so why not worship an AI bot? Wired Magazine wrote “God is a bot, and Anthony Levandowski is his messenger.” To Christians, this is reminiscent of Revelation 13:15.
Scientism underlies both Technocracy and Transhumanism; the latter is to humanity as the former is to society. Without scientism, neither could be explained or justified. Scientism was first clearly defined by the French philosopher, Henri De Saint-Simon.
