What Happened To the AI Job Apocalypse?

AI is the ultimate disruptor, but the employment apocalypse hasn't happened as predicted... so far. What we have is employment churn, but not necessarily employment burn. Across multiple industries, employees are reporting increased job stress and burnout because of strain of using AI. Many employees are reporting more work because AI gives them more tasks to do.
