Young Adults In San Francisco Hate AI: “It’s Like Having A Dumb Friend”

News of the backlash against AI is growing. San Francisco is the heart of AI in the world, and the culture is splitting in two: first, there are the AI tech workers themselves, who have their own culture. Then, there is everybody else. This is not isolated. Graduating classes across the nation booed commencement speakers when they told students that the world would be great because of AI.  This is a death knell for the AI industry if it cannot convince the young adults to go along. AI leaders should rightly be in panic mode at this point.
