Arch-Technocrat TechBro Billionaire Trilateral Commission member Eric Schmidt is not someone you should trust with your future. Indeed, he might be playing the spider in the timeless poem, “The Spider and the Fly.” But the point is made: the world is cracking apart, and people (especially Zoomers) are being seduced by Technocracy’s siren call of efficiency, neutrality, and impartiality. Security is not found in Universal Basic Income, nor is happiness found in “trusting the algorithm.” Nevertheless, the world is caving in.
