A Democrat, Peter Hubbard, was elevated to the Georgia Public Service Commission because he ran a campaign based on rising consumer energy prices due to the outrageous energy consumption of AI data centers. Hubbard is the first Democrat in 20 years to achieve statewide office in Georgia. Why? Because Republicans, from President Trump on down to states and local communities, are routinely pumping pro-AI data centers. The approaching 2026 midterm elections are likely see significant overturn of Republican fortunes.

Who Really Owns America? The Banks, the Billionaires, and the Deep State

The concept of ownership is being redefined as renting-for-life. The World Economic Forum let the cat out of the bag when it proclaimed that "By 2030, you will own nothing." "You" is a condescending term that refers to everyone else but "them." Somebody has to own the stuff we will rent, but it won't be you. As real assets are being hoovered up around the world, middle-class ownership is being squeezed out like a tube of toothpaste. We are close to the point of inflection to roll over into an asset-based economy, devoid of debt and private property.

Just like the TSA manhandles all travelers to potentially catch a few terrorists, so ICE is trolling all citizens in order to find a few deportees. This is wrong on so many levels and is an egregious assault on the First and Fourth Amendments, but nobody seems to care, especially in the government. Since ICE works for and reports to the Federal government, it feeds all data collected back to those agencies. Layered on top of Fusion Centers, which the DHS also runs, ICE is adding boots on the ground to the burgeoning police state.

Fermi's Project Matador will be the largest AI datacenter in the world, consuming twice the power to run New York City in peak power season or five times the power to run the entire panhandle of Texas. The data center proper will be 60 acres under roof, but the whole supporting complex will cover thousands of acres, including nuclear generating plants, gas-fired turbines, solar fields, and water treatment plants.

Perhaps MBS sees himself as a modern-day Nimrod, the Biblical figure who built the Tower of Babel. If so, he is in a fierce race with other dictators in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq to hang on to the title. Collectively, these countries are spending over $1 trillion over the next few years on state-of-the-art smart cities.

Now, Karp is the CEO of the top surveillance company that has completely dominated the industry.

Proof That AI Is Destroying Jobs In One Chart

The author is an optimist. I'm not. Eventually, the S&P will cease its ascent, but job openings will continue to decline. AI is not like tractors that replaced farmers, an irrelevant analogy. Tractors were not anti-human, and their manufacturers weren't lunatic disruptors trying to destroy the world. Arch-Technocrat Marc Andreessen last February predicted that "AI will crash wages" and hence, crash prices of all goods and services, bringing about Utopia. Really? A massively deflationary economic depression is Utopia? Yet, these are the idiots leading the charge to destroy humanity.
