Shuttered: California’s Showcase Desert Solar Plant Goes Dark In National Disgrace

It was billed as the "Hoover Dam of solar power" but  investors, environmentalists, and California residents said it "was a doomed project from the start.” It has wasted billions of taxpayer dollars, typical of Obama-era New Green Deal fantasies. It's pitiful energy output wasn't sufficient to power even one large AI data center. Good riddance. - Patrick Wood, Editor.

Why The Tech Gods Of Silicon Valley Are Pivoting to Christianity

When you use the broad-brush word "Christianity", it can mean many things, from a Biblical fundamentalist to a Messianic cult; still, there is a meaning of Christ hidden somewhere in the dialogue.  Peter Thiel is parroting about Armageddon and the Antichrist, both Biblical topics, without any clear understanding of what he is talking about. Many TechBros are turning to mystical forms of Catholicism. Why the pivot to Christianity all of a sudden, and why not Buddhism or Hinduism? Perhaps the angle is the apocryphal nature of the impact of tech on the world.

The collapse of reality is still in its infancy, but all the signposts are screaming "Danger Ahead."  As this article states, "we are witnessing the emergence of an entirely new frontier of mental health crises." Indeed. Marriages are breaking up. People are being driven to suicide. Others are filling up beds in mental institutions. What's going on? Musk Leads: XAI Colossus 2 First Gigawatt AI Data Center

There are already 1,240 up-and-running AI data centers in America, but this is just the tip of the iceberg; that's an average of almost 25 per state. Largest concentrations are in Northern Virginia and Maricopa County, Arizona. Musk will power Colossus 2 with over 30 Titan-350 gas turbines, delivering 1.1 gigawatts to the data center in Memphis. For size comparison, this could power over 50 percent of the city of Memphis.
