This odd story appears to be written by AI and probably by a competitor of OpenAI. This is not just a problem with OpenAI, but also with Grok, Meta, and the multiple companion apps circulating around. The problem stems from the collapse of reality, and it can strike anybody at any time. Sycophant responses from AI, coupled with sensory misalignment (seeing or hearing fakery), land people in a state of mental vertigo. When you cannot tell reality from a fence post, you are in the hands of the Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.
