Most writers talk about the AI that was around 6 months ago, and judge it accordingly. With the capability of AI doubling every 4-5 months, you should immediately see the problem - it's almost impossible to keep up. Shumer has been a world-class coder for years, and now finds himself out of hands-on coding forever. With Anthropic's just-released Opus 4.6, I had to test it for myself, and I concur that something big is happening.
