As an adult, I can ask AI to locate a research paper for me without striking up a conversation about my personal problems. Not so with kids. AI is becoming a snare and an idol, and for the first time in the history of the world, it can speak with you directly. Is it possible that AI developers in Silicon Valley are aware that they are creating such a system of idolatry? Yes, considering all the chatter about AI God in the AI community.
