The race to space has begun with the likes of Google and Elon Musk leading the way, you can be sure that others will follow. Last year, Google was scratching its head; this year, it has Project Suncatcher. There are plans to launch 2 test satellites in early 2027. My guess is that Musk will figure out a way to control his Starlink network with an AI data center in space, powered by solar panels. Will spaceships be launched with AI on board to explore the universe? Ask Elon.
