Flashback: The Tech Industry’s Asperger’s Problem

For many years, I have intentionally studied the mind of a technocrat to determine what makes them tick. Engineers, scientists, and mathematicians certainly have some stereotypical characteristics. However, to my bad, I missed the Asperger's problem entirely. People inside and outside the industry, including psychologists and psychiatrists, have been writing about it since 2001, and it is troubling. This would be a "nothing burger," except that these people are making decisions about the future of humanity within their own bubble.
