Synthetic biology is the rearrangement of genetic material (DNA, RNA, and proteins) between species and within species. This is the outcome of NBIC (Nano-Bio-Info-Cogno), or Convergent Science. NBIC serves Transhuman and Technocrat goals. Synthetic biology threatens the entire biosphere and every living thing therein. IUCN is a day late and a dollar short in corralling the effects.
