Accelerationists like David Sachs, Marc Andreessen, and other arch-Technocrats, want no regulation for AI, especially from the states. Sachs is the AI Czar to President Trump, who has exceeded his time in office of 130 days. He was never approved by the Senate and apparently has no authority to do anything in Washington. Yet, he persists. This article is stumping for no regulation, and certainly not a "hodgepodge of state laws."

Technocrats have apparently snuck into Congress and put a clause in the Budget bill to ban states from regulating AI for the next ten years. This is Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill." I have been warning for years that we should kick all technocrats out of policy-making positions. They can't get away with this, and you should demand that your Congressman vote this into oblivion. And read the bill from top to bottom before the final vote.

The first thing Musk did on January 24, 2025, was to fire 17 Inspector Generals (IGs), the watchdogs overseeing federal agencies, including those who were investigating Musk's companies. Since then, Musk has raided 15 agencies, including HHS, SSA, Treasury, General Services Administration (GSA), the Departments of Commerce, Energy, Labor, and Transportation. None of the promised $2 trillion of savings has materialized.

Like it or not, AI is producing volumes of increasingly complex legislation. Legislators are apparently happy that it saves their brains for more important things. Meanwhile, the lobbying industry is going hog wild with AI to crank out complex legalese to hand to legislators. Do we want our "rule of law" taken over by AI?
