Some genetic scientists have a conscience and common sense. Dr. Kate gave up her $1 million grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation when she realized how dangerous the research became. She said, “mirror cells would likely be completely invisible to the human immune system.” The NSF came up with this stupid idea in the first place. Think about it: you ingest a harmful bacterial strain that is easily defeated by your immune system. But if its DNA is mirrored, your body will not even see it, and you could be dead in two days.

Synthetic biology is the rearrangement of genetic material (DNA, RNA, and proteins) between species and within species. This is the outcome of NBIC (Nano-Bio-Info-Cogno), or Convergent Science. NBIC serves Transhuman and Technocrat goals. Synthetic biology threatens the entire biosphere and every living thing therein. IUCN is a day late and a dollar short in corralling the effects.

Do these Transhuman scientists really care about millions of women who cannot produce normal eggs? Or are they chasing the Brave New World dream to create genetically-engineered life to put it into artificial wombs? Not one whit of similar research would take place without public funding, yet they hide behind platitudes about helping hapless women who can't reproduce.
