For Technocrat scientists, machine consciousness is a kind of holy grail that mimics human behavior and could be used to control human behavior. Technocrats invent because they can, not because anyone else wants them to do so.

Elon Musk is a consummate Technocrat and Transhumanist who sees the merger of the human condition with advanced technology as the way to achieve Humanity 2.0.  Remember that Technocracy is the "Science of Social Engineering."

The Intelligence community is largely staffed with Technocrats who have no ethical boundaries when operating outside of the law. Hacking into computers to flip votes is a previously established fact, but is not being discussed during the 2020 election debacle.

Justice is an exclusively human concept that cannot be replaced by anything non-human, including Artificial Intelligence. It is dangerous that AI scientists work today with views that they can replace all things human with computer algorithms.

Artificial Intelligence naturally produces Artificial Knowledge. Do you see anything wrong with this proposition? One definition of artificial is "made by people to look very like something natural", which means it's fake while deceptively intending to convince you it's real.
