China is emerging as the poster-child for Technocracy, and the U.N. wastes no opportunity to praise it for ‘working for global public goods’. Not that we want it, the U.S. gets no such praise from the U.N.
I warned in Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation that IEEE would apply its 375,000 electrical engineers to the task of creating data standards for a global smart grid. Why do we need a global smart grid unless full-blown global Technocracy is not in view?
