A major supermarket chain in the UK is finalising plans to stock insects on its shelves and market them as a cheap food source for people struggling to afford to feed their families amid soaring inflation and the cost of living crisis.
The Daily Mail reports that Aldi is considering stocking ‘edible’ bugs and providing recipe kits for parents to prepare worms and crickets for their hungry children.
Potential products in the range include ‘sustainable’ cricket burgers, as well as ‘nuggets’ and ‘mince’.
Just when you thought this couldn’t get any more more dystopian, the supermarket is involved with a TV game show in which insect ‘farmers’ will pitch the bugs as the ‘next big thing’ for Aldi, according to the report.
One of the contestants, Aaron Thomas, commented, “We’re on a mission to change perceptions of insects as food; they’re one of the most sustainable protein sources in the world.”
Thomas further claims that crickets contain more protein than beef adding “We want to take bug consumption mainstream. If we’re able to get in front of Aldi’s audience, that would be an amazing opportunity.”
The move is the latest in a growing trend of pushing bug eating on the masses as a way of ‘saving the planet’.
Recently, Canadian company The Aspire Food Group pledged to produce 9000 tons of insects per year for human and pet consumption after completing construction of the world’s biggest cricket food processing centre.
in 2020, the World Economic Forum published two articles on its website which explored how people could be conditioned to get used to the idea of eating weeds, bugs and drinking sewage water in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
A separate article published on the WEF website outlined how people can be conditioned to enjoy consuming ‘food’ which on the surface sounds disgusting.

Bug eating people have low intelligence, dumbed down parents allowing their kids to be fed bugs in schools. Europe is transitioning into a third world not fit for touring. Husband and I didn’t work for over 40 yrs. to exist on bugs. People must not comply to this, or shots or other dictates. Apparently, the corporate bug profit machine cannot get the POINT. So, LOUDER–It’s not about PROTEIN, asshat. Refusal is about eating REAL, nutritious and good tasting food sans artificial ingredients that is grown by responsible people who own their work and their product. While bugs can be organic and nutritious when nothing else is available to eat, IMO they do not taste good. Been there done that. To actually taste like real food, bugs must be augmented with other ingredients such as veggies, grains, flavorings, stabilizers and then, thoroughly processed to incorporate them in order to make something that looks edible… Read more »
It’s very much about protein. Protein is what you are predominantly made of. Your body needs to have compatible amino acids to make into the structures that make up your body. YOU are basically made of meat, you think that you can make meat from bugs, from kale, from carbs? The answer is no. Years ago, when “they” needed strong workers, they had us eating lots of protein. They got most of us to wear a mask indoors, and many to wear one outdoors, and you can’t see them getting people to eat their own poo, if they so choose to foist it upon us? Please, with all due respect, wake up.
Only if stupid people comply to this filthy eating habit, those devoted to save the earth Gaia cult. It may have started in Canada, not in the U.S. yet. The WEF (et al) effort is to eliminate all other possible food sources, so that insects are the only thing left to consume. Might be time for many of them to be in a condition by which they can no longer have a say or do anything.

people can grow gardens,, raise chickens, rabbits, goats, etc. store food in cans or buckets sealed. more bio weapons will be used for depopulation.
