The world’s food chain is headed toward total automation by robotics and AI, potentially putting tens of millions of farm workers out of employment. Technocrats are planning on Universal Basic Income to mollify the unemployables from rebelling.
Economic pressure has been on family farms for decades as the UN’s Agenda 21/2030 Agenda policies drive young people away from rural communities into cities. Some UN predictions place urban density as high as 70% of total population by 2040.
Technocracy is the ‘science of social engineering’ where the only solution to any problem is science itself. Thus, Technocrats will eagerly – and permanently – modify the germline of major food crops in order to feed the world. How will testing be accomplished? Well, there will be no testing. Technocrats see little need for testing when they deem the science to be ‘settled’.
I wrote in May 2017, “I have warned for years that the Federal government would assert its full authority under the Clean Water Act that cedes all water in the U.S. to the them: from rivers, marshes, swamps, mud flats, drainage, playas, underground rivers, etc. The Feds are making a test case out of this farmer, and if they win, food production in America will drop precipitously.” That day has arrived where the EPA – under a Trump Administration – seeks to exert its full authority. This is a must-read article for everyone and especially those involved with farming or ranching.
Yelp and all other content providers face the fight of their existence to filter and delete fake information. How do you tell fake data from real? For the most part, you don’t, but it will be come a permanent part of your profile.
The issue here is not labor-saving devices; rather, it is with the end-to-end corporate takeover of food production and distribution. No family farm can afford or maintain robotic operations on the scale of corporate farms.
Entry-level jobs at grocery stores have been career-starters for millions of teenagers over the decades. The Technocrat solution is to wipe those jobs out with efficiency.
Farming is traditionally a very labor-intensive industry, but now robots are set to take over the bulk of those jobs and drive more family farms into the hands of corporate giants. Fully automated tractors, planters, weeders and pickers/harvesters can do virtually 100% of any crop.
And away we go… Moths with a genetically modified kill switch to be released into the wild. The words ‘likely’ and ‘unlikely’ are used repeatedly to justify the release: ‘unlikely to impact the environment or humans’ and ‘likely killed off my pesticides’. The USDA has again fallen under the spell of Technocrats who elevate science to a state of godhood and themselves as the high priests.
In another attempt to outwit and out-perform nature, artificial lab-grown meat is deemed the next big food technology. It is unclear if there will be any market acceptance of this product. For those consumers who already reject GMO foods, artificial meat should prove repulsive.
