The Venus Project Is Pure Utopian Technocracy

Jacque Fresco was a Technocrat before he broke with the early Technocracy, Inc. leadership and struck out on his own. The futuristic ideas expressed in the Venus Project came directly from Technocracy: resource-based economy, elimination of currency, no ownership of private property, universal basic income, automation does all the work, all your needs are met by the “system”, etc.

Those who love the Venus Project has argued and fought with me for years saying that it isn’t Technocracy. But oh, yes it is! They are simply ignorant of the facts and bought into it more as a utopian religion than a simple idea. A rose stinkweed by any other name is still a rose stinkweed.

Here is a critical analysis….

Here is the official documentary from The Venus Project itself.

A spinoff of the Venus Project is Peter Joseph’s Zeitgeist movement. Listen to him here talk about Technocracy.
